In 1987 Linda Helgason began to evolve from art collector and museum-goer into a student of art. Working in watercolor, printmakeing media, and charcoal, she finds the human body to be the most compelling subject of all.

Linda has won Best in Show more than once and many other prizes in the last three years: French Art Colony, Gallipolis OH; Cardinal Valley, Ashland KY; The Ironton Artists Asso., Ironton OH; Carter Caves, KY.
